"No to Bullying" Campaign Continues at North Aurelius
North Aurelius Elementary School has once again adopted a "No to Bullying" Campaign for this school year. Anti-bullying signs have been placed outside the school, near the main entrances, and in the hallways to remind students that bullying will not be tolerated at our school.
Additionally, North Aurelius will use the school theme of "Be Awesome Today" to discuss and enforce with our students that they should be safe, respectful, and responsible at school.

Les Trouble PI Assembly
On October 5, North Aurelius held a school wide assembly related to character building, being positive, and not bullying others. Mr. Doug Scheer of Scheer Genius Assembly Shows presented a powerful message to our students about safety, responsibility, and respect.
CHAMPS Implemented
Nearly all North Aurelius teachers have been trained in CHAMPS which promotes positive behavior in the classroom. CHAMPS establishes clear classroom behavior expectations, encourages students to put forth their best effort, and ultimately reduces misbehavior. These proactive strategies have also been found to reduce bullying in CHAMPS schools. Furthermore, weekly positive behavior announcements and classroom lessons help to promote a positive atmosphere in the school.
